Lies

Isn't our lives
A splendid house of lies?
Thousand brilliantly
Crafted Lies.
Colorfully painted
Bewitching lies
promising a perfect existence
Underneath, our lies
are rotting, we know.
With the walls breaking
And floors cracking
Our magnificent house
all set to collapse
But do we stop?
Nah, unruffled,
We go on forging our lives
Lies, one after the other
Time flies, Lies and more Lies
Desperately hoping
A magic spell would turn them true.
Until we touch the ground
And scent of fresh earth hits our nose,
We then see the world beyond
Where the untrue can't be true,
How ever hard we try.
The final truth comes with
a bang
Don't you think?
